I know this may have been covered before, maybe even on the old board. But unfortunately it was not something that caught my eye, and now I have to ask...

I am new to Adobe Acrobat and the PDF Writer / Distiller. I can very easily create my PDF documents manually via the print prompt command for my reports. The question I have for you today is:

"Is there a way to programatically save the report to match a textbox field in the PDF format and in lieu of the visual foxpro.pdf filename that it always defaults to?

The program creates proposals, which have the clients name displayed on a form, easily enough, that is the name I want to save the PDF document under.. Directory is not as critical, however, if it makes a difference within the code, could you please enlighten me on that as well.

Thanks for the help!

I'm not a programmer... but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night!
