hey all,
i have an app. which was working fine and suddenly started to spew error messages. I get the following error:

error code: 1526
error messaage:"Connectivity error:{Mysql]{odbc 3.51 driver][mysqld-4.1.12] you have an error in your sql syntax;check the manual that corresponds to your Mysql server version to use near" ..blah blah.
then It gives the sql query which is supposed to be error prone. The amazing thing is that the app was working all this while and suddenly started spewing the error messages.
The code looks for updates in a dbf table and updates the corresponding MySQL table.

well the connection handle returns -1 for one record(during update) while the other records return a 1 .
It it possible that due to a bad record in the DBF file, the con. handle returns a -1?? why this syntax error all of a sudden.
