If you got VFP8.0 animated Gifs are supported without any 3rd party activeX control.

If you are using VFP7.0, or under; look for Marchoso. Found at :
This is a Spanish language written control, but easy to use. You just
download it and copy into your WinNT\System32 folder and use Regsvr32.exe to
manually register the control.
Then add it into VFP as a control and you will have it in your forms object toolbar
when you select "Active X Controls"
Drop the activeX control on your form, and set the file property to the gif you want
to display and have animated.
This control is free and works pretty good.
