I must agree with Eric, as developers we are always told and try not to redesign the wheel and writing articles on FOXISAPI would be doing just that.

When I was trying to learn FOXISAPI (and I still am) I really wanted more help from this forum, but all I got was look at west-wind, which really started to get to me, because everything I read on west-wind was so disjointed and made absolutely no sense to me at all, because my knowledge of internet protocols was so poor.

Now for the point, buy Rick’s book ‘Internet Applications with VFP 6’ it’s a bit out dated now but everything is still relevant, but be aware if you are anything like me it is going to take you a week of reading, playing, rereading and playing some more, to get your head round it, but once it does click it is amazingly simple to get things working.
