As far as I know VFP language contains for compatibility many if not all FoxBase commands.
Since you are familiar with FoxBase language, and
I assume that you are going to purchase VFP anyway, and then you could start enhancing your programming skills directly from VFP Help. You could start working applying FoxBase knowledge while gradually learning on the examples/solutions providing with VFP Help.
