Not sure about this, but I remember some issues in (I believe) FPW2.x and special screen settings for font sizes. In WinXP, you can set this font size in \Control Panel\Display\Appearance\Font Size. If the font size was set to a large or extra large, one could get a "position is off the screen" kind of error.
