Maybe someone out there does not know about the exact issue in question but has a worked with a centralized vfp9 application against an Oracle or SQl Server back-end or any other DMBS for that matter. What about changing from a distributed to a centralized environment? Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you Anders, Remote Desktop is an option but it would require every user to open a remote desktop connection and we want to do this as straightforward as possible and with minimal changes for the end-user that's used to having a shortcut on the desktop to the application. There is a solution called 2X (www.2x.com) we have been testing in our LAN and it appears to do what we want. I'll post any progress that could help someone else with a similar issue. In the meantime, feel free to comment!

Thanks,

JD
