I've experimented other kind of error on 'File is in use' (code = 3)
Working into the net applications I was not able to handle this error (via ON ERROR procedure) as number (error=3), but I can handle error like text (Error message = 'File is in use'). The error=108 works fine.
When this error appears in VFP, can you open your file in command window ?
What about debug ? Can you see your files already opened in data environment ?
At that time can you open yor file in other application( viewers, Explorer(copy),so)?
