Here's the scenario:

im trying to create a view for my report. the report is about scholarship and my client wants me to put a filter where in he can enter the school year that he want will be viewed.

heres the problem:
i tried putting inputbox() method in the having condition in the sql statement of my view... if there are 10 records in the table, the user needs to input the same filter value 10 times....what should i do to eliminate this error?.

heres a sample code for my view:

select name, year, scholarship, gwa, funding from tblscholarship having name = inputbox("Enter Name")

is there a better way to do this?

can i use query for my report?

actually this is just a school project...but i really need your help...tnx in advance
