> I am a programmer in HONG KONG, if you ask me which language is popular in there, it is VB rather than VFP. But i only know VFP and i think i will not waste the time in learning VB since I can use VFP to write a whole Point Of Sales system myself and sell it to customer. My next language is JAVA since it is cross-platform.

Foxpro is not really dead but instead the one who is using the said language. Like me I am now learning VFP, still growing and kicking. Maybe 3 to 5 years from now, I am not a programmer anymore but an owner of MS eheeemmmm.... Mike's Sari-Sari Store hehehehe.....I think knowledge / learning is what we are talking about here, if we are not learning VFP then the knowledge for VFP is too little, then we decide to let it DIE like a dying sick person. If I maybe knowledgeable about .NET then maybe I can say that VFP is dead in my own opinion, because you are using ASPX not VFP. Mastering of One's language makes the language alive. An Open Mind with an Open Heart in Learning makes a person more successful.
