I'm sorry to tell you, but you're absolutely wrong and unfair here.

There's another important point here, that it seems you did not notice, that Mike does not want to infringe some rights from other people that have publihed solutions in some paid websites.

In other cases, he just does not have the time to create a sample for you, but still is providing a hint.

But also in many cases he also drives people to some other great open articles that he or others wrote.

Needless to say that his hint is definitely a good way to go.

In my own case, for some times I was lucky to receive some of Mike's hints, and I can tell you that this was a BIG honor to me, and helped me going further, and growing. :-)
