I think there is just about no chance that we'll ever see ALL of VFP go open source. What has been announced is a way that we can keep VFP alive without MS having to commit much in the way of resources. The key to this is how long you can continue to buy VFP 9 licenses, which you need to develop in Sedna. That is a detail that YAG says he's still working on.
