That may be fortunate for you, but it's not a practical viewpoint for the rest of us. I, for one, am working on a new VFP desktop app, so they certainly still exist. I like to encourage my clients to buy their own copy of VFP, and I provide them with source code, so that they are independent from me, should they need to find someone else to take over their development. I'm not going to be able to request that clients buy their own copy if VFP it's no longer available. How long you can continue to buy VFP is still a point that needs to be worked out.
