MY best guess is that people like YAG, Ken Levy, Milind Lele, BG or anybody connected to VFP in any way will never have a quiet day again and most certainly they will never have the guts to look anybody straight in the eye!

Sorry to have to disagree with you here. If a company makes a business decision to discontinue a product that is their perogative and they own no explanations to anyone but their stock holders.
As for the VFP people, well I can say that Robert, Calvin, Randy, Ken, and YAG have nothing to feel about their contributions to the fox community but pride. They have been the best of the best and still are. Simply because Microsoft, as a company, has decided not to continue to develop new versions of a mature product casts no aspersions on that group of people. I have the privilege of saying that I know that group of people personally and they are the salt of the earth.
Sometimes when things go in a way that we don't think is best for us we have to simply bite the bullet and carry on and stop with the finger pointing to try to find someone to blame. It has been clear, to me at least, for a good long while that Fox is a mature product and that its lifetime of new versions was coming to an end. Whether that was with VFP 9 or 10, or even 11 is really not important.
I want to say thank you to Robert, Calvin, Ken, Randy, YAG and the whole VFP team for a great ride while it lasted. They kept bringing us new versions of VFP that kicked a** each time with a minimal team that gave a super human effort on each version. I feel no anymosity towards anyone of the VFP team at all and I certainly don't hold them responsibile for Microsoft's corporate policies whether I agree with those policies or not.
