I know, this is an old message and you probably have explained things in replies to replies on this one. But I currently don't have the time to read all that's said here about the announcement. (I've been involved on this topic on the UT all the time.)
Two things however:
1) I still miss your name and others' on the list of those who signed a petition. How come? See here:
