> Microsoft have decided to terminate further VFP development. We all know they're making a mistake. It's up to the Community to tell them. Support the MasFoxPro initiative and
sign the petition now.
Good one Eric.
I have already signed the petition. I realize that the language thing is difficult for some developers, but perhaps we could persuade one of our Spanish speaking members to provide a "walk through" of how to obtain a login and how to sign the petition.
Now, I somehow doubt that Microsoft will actually reverse their decision, but I would be satisfied with an extension of the support date. For example if MS were to support VFP through to 2025, that would satisfy me. While I probably would like to see a 64bit version of VFP, I don't really need it. I am rather happy with what VFP 9 gives me. We may not change Microsoft's corporate mind about VFP 10, but perhaps we could change their mid about 2015.
