Hi All,
I'm here again :-) this time with a question about
Connection with an external database and I hope i have chosen the right
category.

Now the question:

I have to import some data from an excell file to a table in a foxpro database
I have created a new connection in the data section of the project manager
creating a new datasource as FoxPro requres it; then i selected the data source field to: "Microsoft Excell File" and saved the connection. When I click on the "Verify Connection" button FoxPro shows up two warnings:
1) The query timeout cannot be set
2) The connection sync/async mode cannot be set
then appears a small windows that announces "connection succeded" but closing the Connection designer choosen tables doesn't appears as expected...
I specify that I tryed with all possible values of the "Asyncronous Execution" ckbox
and the varius timeout intervals... and there is non password needed to open the file.

What can I do to see the excell/csv table in foxpro?

Thanx.

Riccardo.
