I clicked "release after report" and chose the "end of page" in the combo below.I also placed the field variable in the report. But what is getting displayed in all the pages is "1". I also chose "count" in the calculate choice option button. My page no has to be placed on top of my report. Can anybody help me?

_pageno is a standard FoxPro report variable. It keeps track of the page count for you. You put it in your report as a field with _pageno as the value. Then under the calculations of that field you have to be sure to set it to reset at END OF REPORT. If you reset it at the end of the page then every page will have the same value.
