One last note: I deleted the rogue record from the project table and the project rebuilt successfully. I was happy. Then I tried to build to the .exe and got an OBJECT CLASS IS INVALID FOR THIS CONTAINER error. At that point I decided to punt and just rebuilt my project from scratch. That's what I should have done the first time-- it only took about an hour to fix the whole shebang as opposed to the six or eight hours I banged my head against this thing.
