Hi FoxGurus! & Dale,

2 Years ago I emailed Dale regarding setting up a "peer" of VFP developers and would really want to be on that "peer", and
as I browse thru the archives of messages, there are a lot of VFP Developers coming from all over the Philippines, perhaps
we could have some info. on how really big VFP here in the Philippines.

As others might want to know, a lot of us here started using DBASE III & Clipper , and have started to manipulate the power
of Foxpro ,but never imagined that it's really common, the reason why i'm saying this is because a lot of VB programmers
as well as academic institution are skeptical when it comes on the future of VFP , but in reality & development wise it is
being embraced since it gives a lot of ease on the developers & the company itself, giving immediate solutions.

In relation to our economic "recession" , perhaps we could further "educate" the so called "big time" developers &
schools regarding the power of VFP , and a "Philippine Convention on Foxers" would be a neat idea to start, so that
we could invite our FOXGURUS!, this will only boost the possibility of telling MS that "we are the one" , but also a
much growth that VFP needs.

I myself has started to embrace "another" dev.tools such as VB & Java , but still, my heart belongs to FOXPRO
and will always be on that way , especially that there are guys like our FOXGURUS! , who never let us down.

New Age developer's never knew the real power of FOX and it's roots especially the programming discipline
that was incribed by it's "easy" to use syntax, I think this might be the right time!
