In which I want to add some text input by other text boxes and through some command button. but when I concatenate text with existing text it losses all formatting. How I can add text in RTF control. I uses syntex like thisform.olecontrol1.rtftext = thisform.olecontrol1.rtftext+thisform.text1.text and also uses thisform.olecontrol1.text = thisform.olecontrol1.text+thisform.text1.text MZahid

Automate Outlook with signatures
Thread ID: 260334 Jerry Zavitz Automate Outlook with signatures Automating Outlook email from VFP. No problem except I cannot define the .body property with text or .htmlbody with html and still get my default signature block. The problem is when defining the above properties it overwrites the default format of the email hence no signature block. If I do not define the properties I can get a signature block. Using VFP 6 or VFP 9 with Outlook 2003. Searched the web and found a VB thread that stated to concatenate the .body property to my text ex: .body = "text" + .body ..... this results in an error. Any ideas on how to get both?

Capture variable # of words in program
Thread ID: 331829 Tom McGinty Capture variable # of words in program All, Last week, the Foxite crew helped me figure out how to go through each line of an array and find a "word" that's nine characters long AND has at least one number in it. Now I have a new problem with the same program. Once I find that word, I need to concatenate all of the prior words, except for the one immediately preceding it. So if the word that meets my criteria is word number four in the line (i), I need: getwordnum(i,1) + ' ' + getwordnum(i,2) If the word that meets my criteria is word number six in the line (i), I need: getwordnum(i,1) + ' ' + getwordnum(i,2) + ' ' + getwordnum(i,3) + ' ' + getwordnum(i,4) And so

Documenting an application
Thread ID: 118162 Emerson Reed Documenting an application To register a software here in Brazil, is necessary to print the whole application code and the price to pay is based on the total number of pages. I'm using PDM to document our application, but I'm having problems to convert these files to pdf (using PDFCreator) to know the total number of pages. I've developed an application to read all folders created by PDM and print and concatenate all html files using PDFCreator COM interface, but every html file printed open the print dialog box and I don't find any workaround at this moment. I need to automate this process because we have up to 10 applications to document and the documentation is very large

Extract a clause from SQL
Thread ID: 195217 Barbara Peisch Extract a clause from SQL I finally found that code I wrote a number of years ago to extract a clause from a SQL statement. As a recall, there are some limitations but I don't recall what they are right now. PROTECTED FUNCTION ExtractClause LPARAMETERS tcClause, tcString * Pulls the clause named in tcClause out of a tcString and returns it LOCAL lcReturn, lnCount, lnIgnoreStart, lnIgnoreEnd, lcTemp lcReturn = '' lnCount = OCCURS(UPPER(tcClause),UPPER(tcString)) * Concatenate multiple instances of the clause in cases like UNIONS, where there can be multiple * WHERE or GROUP BY clauses. Image concatenation/combining
Thread ID: 132093 Duffy Weber Image concatenation/combining Hi guys! Sorry for the second goofy question in one week, but I was wondering if any of you know of a good way to concatenate images? In other words, I'd like to "sew" several BMP's together into a single large one programmatically. I can do it by outputting programmatically to an FRX, but I'd like for the end users to simply be able to keep the image. Plus it'd be faster than the code I use to concatenate them on a report, and easier to reproduce under varied circumstances. For any of you who read the public Microsoft Fox forum, the question was posted there by Liska, but I figured I'd ask y'all, since this place seems to get a little

passing VFP array to VC++ dll
Thread ID: 175622 Ellen Solomon passing VFP array to VC++ dll Hi everyone! I have a VC++ dll to which I need to pass an array of parameters (all strings). For example, DIMENSION MyArray(3) MyArray(1) = "c:\temp\sourcefile.txt" MyArray(2) = "c:\temp\output.csv" MyArray(3) = "NOT NULL" But it isn't ready to be passed to the dll. According to VFP Help on "Passing Parameters to Dynamic-Linked Libraries": If the data you're working with in Visual FoxPro is in an array, you must loop through the array and concatenate it into a single string representing a C-style array before passing it to the DLL function. Hmmm. Does that mean something like: vcArray = MyArray(1) + "\0
