Interestingly in my search for a solution,
I recently read a header of an article from FOXPROADVISOR.com

"Defeat the 255-Character Limit (JUNE 20004 ISSUE)
Here's a workaround to VFP 8's 255-character limit for a single property in the Property Sheet.

By Arto Toikka

"As useful as it may be, Visual FoxPro 8's new CursorAdapter class easily runs up against the VFP length
limitation for a single property in the Property Sheet. After you start adding fields to the cursor under construction,
the schema quickly meets and exceeds the 255-character limit.
I've figured out a way to trick FoxPro into letting me get around this. "

Am not a subscriber to the magazine but i wonder what his solution or trick is.
Anyone know his secret?
