Do not allow to get your database to be filled with daily datamurmur. Use pack only to get rid of unwanted data, but only after you have saved it into some kind of history file. And most of all allow only useful data to be entered into your tables.

Glenn,
my point is that you want to pack on a daily basis. I presume you pack because you dont want unwanted records in your table. These unwanted records I call datamurmur, I believe, but once more that is only an opinion, you should not have allowed to enter those numerous datamurmur fields and you could consider to review your dataentry logic to prevent this. More strongly I am a favourite to avoid by anymeans that tables are loaded with records which are useless and need to be removed daily.
Regards,
Koen
