Perhaps I could - if it was just pure-vanilla-VFP's grid; however, this grid is also of VMP breed, and it rejected that combo box (of VMP breed, too) when I tried to drag it from the project's window and drop it into the (selected/active) column: "Cannot add this object to a grid" error message from VFP itself (imagine that!)
