Hi Joseph -

From the server's point of view: If you are using a Windows O/S on your file server, you can right-click "My Computer" -> "Manage" -> expand "System" in the treeview and go to "Shared Folders" -> "Open Files" from there.

If you want to know about active clients from you application's point of view, there is nothing built-in but you can implement your own handling, for instance by using low-level filesytem handles to flag files in a shared folder or RLock() on records of a "currentUsers" table.
