Is it not possible to store users logged in information into some dbf file and check
if any user is logged in.

you can add a flag say loggedIn as logical to your table users (if you are using it else
create it)

and when user loggedIn then set this flag to .T.

when your application quits then reset this flag for that user to .F.

and whenever you want to check just query for loggedIn users and you will get who is
using your exe at that time.

you can also store user's machine information along with their other information
ID() or Sys(0) functions
