Basically this system is to store all the old documents (could be word, pdf or other types) and retrieve them whenever we need. Are there any examples of showing how to do this with Foxpro (if possible) or maybe with some other types of software or tools?

Basically, what you need is some sort of cataloging software. To do that, you can create a folder for archive. That folder can be sub-foldered to cater different types of files. Then you can create a treeview type of form where you can save the description/title of those documents and the full path and filename of those. When double-clicking a node or a button, run ShellExecute() to open those in their own program, i.e., pdf on your current pdf reader, word on MSWord, etc.

If you are after an RTF reader which can save back and forth document files from and to MSWord, check this tool I gave last time: http://weblogs.foxite.com/sandstorm36/archive/2009/11/21/9403.aspx

And also read some more of the others I wrote about RTF and Automation like Spell/Grammar Check, saving table format, etc.
