I would just utilize the ODBC connection for MYSQL (which you can also redistribute with your app) and the create a remote view off of the ODBC connection.

> AFAIK an MSDataGrid needs to be bound to an ADO record set. If you don't want to get into dealing with ADO, then I suggest you use the native grid and use a remote view or CursorAdapter.
