As I said CA is buffered by default, that means you could use ALL functions that could be use against buffered table:
oCA = CREATEOBJECT([MyCursorAdapter])
IF NOT oCA.CursorFill()
   AERROR(laError)
   MessageBox([Can not fill the cursor ] +laError[1,2])
   RETURN .f.
ENDIF
IF RECCOUNT(oCA.Alias) == 0
   APPEND BLANK
ENDIF
REPLACE MyField WITH SomeValue IN (oCA.Alias)
IF NOT TableUpdate(1, .t., oCA.Alias)
   AERROR(laError)
   MessageBox([Can not update the cursor ] +laError[1,2])
   TableRevert(.t., oCA.Alias)
   RETURN .f.
ENDIF
