If you really, really need to make sure that you don't have code page translation in your field, I think that you should first create a temp table with CREATE CURSOR and use it in your SQL command.

Hi Ilya,

All I meant in the first part of the post is to try and use CAST(getListEntries(lcPK) AS M). NOCPTRANS cannot be used as a parameter in this func, AFAIK. WRT your question, I'm sorry, I don't have VFP around, so I cannot test it, but I think it should work. I think too that maybe a select INTO that TEMP cursor should also work if your TEMP cursor has all the fields you select including the one obtained through CAST(getListEntries(lcPK) AS M).

Hope this helps.
Yull

PS I'm a "he" alright. :) I didn't think it might be so confusing! :)
