I was reluctant to go without NOCPTRANS because, well, I remember the grief caused by upgrading from FPD2.5 to VFP3.0b all too well... Another thing is, that I will have to ensure there's CPDIALOG = OFF in our config file if I go without NOCPTRANS - but that's OK, I guess.

Well, my current job doesn't involve SQL (at all)... at least wrt what we do, that is if we take out of the picture the ERP system running the company's business, of which of course, we're just users! Ha! Ha! Ha! I used to do it in the past (as well as a lot of other interesting things), and currently, oh well, currently I use VFP just to help some people I care a whole deal to straighten things up with their VFP applications. No pay, just heart. :) VFP is just one of the tools and languages I use among many others - to not be taken as a self-praise, is just a simple fact. :) A great one on the data-handling side I might add, and having a highly productive RAD environment. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. :)

And since there's no photo neither city/country of residence, only "Yull67" up there in the box... the rest is anybody's guess. And since witch hunt on "political incorrectness" is still rampant in the US (and more so in CA)... "better be safe than sorry"!

Since I'm not aware of my company's policies wrt participating on any other forums not related with our domain, which is by itself highly demanding, I registered here (and in other places) with this nickname (pretty close to my real name), which you (praise to you) had a great shot at it. :) And guess what? I'm from Europe too, but never get caught in things like the ones you mentioned above. :)

> And I meant no offense, Sir!

Are you kidding? I didn't even dream one sec about an offense. On the contrary, I found it funny, since I use this nickname in many other places and it never happened before! :) But there's always "a time for the first time" isn't it? ;)

One last word: if you're curious to find out more about me, then maybe I might send you an introductory email. That is, if the following three conditions are met: you don't mind, your address is publicly listed here and we'll find some spare time (DOH!) for chatting through email! :)

All the best,
Yull

PS My long message is just because we're very close to the lunch time here... That might also give you a rough idea on my location. ;)
