Create N reports, and then give the user the options of selecting the criteria which match your reports.

Another complex way to theoretically match your goals is to open the .frx as a table, copy to a temporary location, and manually modify the values. You risk setting some value to an incompatible value though, and rendering your modified report destroyed.
