Hi Toms

IN my application I do not store any user password. When the user runs my app the login screen comes up and they are asked to enter a user name & password. This user name and PW is the same as the one they use to log into the network - it is the windows password maintained in Active Directory.

I then call a DLL I have written that takes this username & PW and HASH compares it to the one in AD. I think this is what you want to do?

If so please go to the download section of this fine site and search for and download the file with download ID 115. This is the DLL I uploaded to the site which will return a .T. or .F.

Have fun

Bernard
