Thank you for your suggestions has given. Understanding table buffering, locks & any basic retrieval of data is much known to me. My point is, i want to know the basic of creating a SQL server database and how they link/connect from SQL to VFP tables. Thru a sample programs of make a simple programming that could help get an idea on how to deal it.
