Then something is wrong with RUN command line in VFP, or with how RUN is invoked (RUN is using pif file, and there may be different pif files when you run from VFP command window, and from exe file. Make sure that pif file command line points to cmd.exe, not command.com).

To avoid possible problems with DOS RUN command, use SHELLEXEC API call instead. At least it gives the return value indicating whether file has been found, and similar.
