I've created audit trails for a VFP app using triggers. Each trigger calls a VFP procedure, which then logs as needed. This works great from within my app.

PROBLEM - When the data is accessed from OUTSIDE of my app the triggers still attempt to fire and, of course, can't find my procedure. This can happen from a number of other apps that are related, or when browsing the data via VFP.

What are the best practices in a situation like this? Need the trigger to fire when my app is running, but skip when the app isn't running.

Thanks for your help!

Jeff
