You taught me something today and there's this extra post here. So, I thought it was only right to return the favor. :-)

Consider:
There are 86,400 seconds in a day (24*60*60).

In the Bible, God decreed that no man shall live longer than 120 years (Genesis 6:3). A year is one traversal around the sun. There are 360 degrees in a circle. 120*360 = 43,200, exactly half of 86,400 numerically.

This becomes very interesting when you consider that God made them both male and female, and that He made the woman explicitly of and from the man, to bring back to the man, that they might then be together. God joins them together in marriage and they become "one flesh."

When the two are joined, the numeric total then adds up to 86,400.

This value represents the completed number as is seen in "the day," and also then the completed number as is seen "in a life" (the two lives, male and female, joined together by God) were they allowed to live out to the maximum God decreed.

I post this because it occurred to me completely out of the blue today while I was researching our/my ODBC API issue. As a result, I figure there's relevance between you and I in there somewhere. :-)

Best regards,
Rick C. Hodgin
