I noticed that VFP use all the computer resources (especially CPU) to run so other applications have to wait. Is there any way to specify the CPU usage as well as the memory usage for the VFP?

What is your app doing when it's taking up all resources? Perhaps you can add some optimizations to your code.
There's some SYS() functions that may help you with the memory usage, but I have never used these things myself. AFAIK, the operating system takes care of the CPU time. The only thing you can change is the application's base priority.
