Many PBX machines I've worked with have a serial interface (COM port). You can connect your computer to that serial interface thru a serial cable. With the MSCOMM32 active x control (search the archives for code samples), you can connect to the PBX and receive information. I suggest you try the HyperTerminal tool that comes with Windows to receive and analyze data from the system before you start programming your parser tool in VFP.
