Yes, I want to produce one XML (which includes all the contents and layout of my DBC file)...just like one XML for each table what CURSORTOXML does for us. Because that is the format requested by some one to whom I need to send the data from VFP to their (black box) application. I don't know anything about their spec. All that I need to send all the transactions of all the tables (in my DBC) in XML format and send it to them. I think their application will easily identify the XML formatted data and later they can import into their application.

Also,
I have tried

CURSORTOXML("table1", "myxml.xml",1,512, 0,"")
I found the following myxml.xml:
----------

rao
fdsf

kallu
fdsafds

------------
But when I use XMLTOCURSOR("myxml.xml", "table1", 8192)

I get the XML Parse error: Invalid at the top level of the document Line1, Position 1. myxml.xml.

It is the same thing I am trying to produce. I am using the same XML document produced by the FoxPro. Any help where I am going wrong.

Thanks
J.
