Guys:

Just upgraded to VFP9 from VFP6. I have re-compiled a program using VFP9.

I have encountered corruption detection when opening some existing free tables. The .dbf files are dBase III (sharing data with legacy apps.) In this case, the tables were attempted to be opened "exclusive" with no other users using the files.

The confusing thing that I note is that while VFP9 reports corruption, VFP6 opens the same file flawlessly.

I used VFP6 to copy the file to a new one (type foxplus for compatibility) and VFP9 can now open the new file.

This has happened three times over the past two days . . . has anybody had fun with this issue before?

Thanks for the help,

Brad
