Hans,

I understand you have an unexpected quiting of FoxPro when you click on a particular menuitem but you face too much coding to explore to find out what makes VFP closing your application.
If my understanding correct than put following line in your application startup:

ON SHUTDOWN debug
Now when the debugger opens you click in the debugger main menu on Window->Callstack and you should see the line which causes the shutdown.
