You will end up with all kind of errors, debugger can''t find components which are correctly load in your application.

Hi,
What exactly are you trying to tell me? your 1st thread in this tree????
I suppose you mean to say my first question in this thread?

are the questions

Is this the right to start debugging with Debug - Do... with Prg file?

Is there any option which I need to set so that I don't need to press F8 for each line of code?

If yes than.

To find out which is the Recordsource of your grid.
You may start your form and place on the init of your grid either the line set step on on press in your init on the first line a debugger stop in the margin.
Now when your debugger shows you and find and investigate any value of anything on your form in the watch window so to find out what is the controlsource of your grid, you type myForm.myGrid.RecordSource and it will be shown in the value, change the names of myForm. and myGrid to your actual form.Name and grid.name.

DONT code around with your path or so when activating the debugger.
There is no need to press the F8 or the advanced Button in the debugger, you may however also set a breakpoint, the debugger will stop exactly on the line of code where the changement is done.
So in your case you may set a breakpoint on the value of the grid.Recordsource then run the button Resume or Ctrl~M your application will run untill the value is changed

Trust my explications are clear, if not feel free to ask again.

Regards,
Koen

Coding without the use of m. is not generic and should be qualified as recreational
