That's because Vfp textboxes may or may not have border and margin:

_screen.AddObject('label1','Label')
_screen.label1.Move(10,10)
_screen.label1.AutoSize = .T.
_screen.label1.Caption = '1234567890'
_screen.label1.Visible = .T.

_screen.AddObject('text1','Textbox')
_screen.text1.Move(100,10)
_screen.text1.Width = _screen.label1.Width
_screen.text1.BorderStyle = 0
_screen.text1.Margin = 0
_screen.text1.Value = _screen.label1.Caption
_screen.text1.Visible = .T.
