A basic way would be to use the AfterRowColChange event of the grid. Something like:
*-- Untested but you get the idea
LOCAL llEnabled

llEnabled = MyTable.MyNAmeField # "FRED"

This.SetAll("ReadOnly", "llEnabled", "Column")
