I just put a timer in the dockable form with interval set at 500 then:
** at form load event:
THIS.DOCK(2)
** AND IN TIMER EVENT:
IF ! thisFORM.Docked
   THIS.Enabled=.F.
   thisFORM.Dock(2)
   THIS.Enabled=.T.
ENDIF
** to prevent user closing however "setting the form's closable method to .F." is not enough. You need to also code
** NODEFAULT on its queryunload event. Therefore a programmatic way of eventually closing it is required ie. one that
** disregards / bypasses the queryunload event, eg. thisform.-/-form_name.release()
** alternatively / otherwise, just use:

(what might seem complicated in there is actually just a method of cutting the form's titlebar off )
