Now, the click is being fired before I get a chance to click again. _Dblclick is set to .50. I've also tried setting _Dblclick to 2.50 with the same result. I'm still running VFP 9 SP1 and I can't think of what would have changed to cause this problem. Any ideas?

Since posting my original message I restored from a backup from early November and the double-click started working again. It looks like this is something I changed at the class level because I'm seeing the same problem in another form. I need to compare the old version of the class to the new one and see what changed.

Later...

Found it! In the textbox class I use on grids I had added a DODEFAULT() to the Click method. The parent class' Click method has this:

if this.parent.class = 'Column'
   This.SelStart = 0
   This.SelLength = 999
   NODEFAULT
endif

Why this causes a problem I'm not sure, but removing the DODEFAULT() in the subclass did fix this problem. But it looks like it will cause the textbox contents to not be selected when I click, so I have to figure out a way around this.
