On the other hand, you are given the choice whether or not to show your email address or your name on Foxite. It is up to you. If you don't want to register with your real address, then get yourself a spam address at hotmail, of just fill in a dummy email address. As for the spammers: i suggest you set a message rule or a spam block in your email client.

I didn't give my email address..but I do want people to be able to email me if they have a reason to. But I am a little skitso from tending mail for past couple years..lol. Why not build your site with some thought to this email spam problem. Maybe you could forward the mail, that way nobody sees the email addy. Arn't there programs already available that could handle that. You just need to impliment it.
