I mean, i suggest you to not use general type field, but use char or memo type field and save bmp file path and name into it.

In your form use image control and set property Picture = your_table.your_bmp_field

NB:
I'm not using fpw2.6 for long time, so i can't remember what control for image in fpw2.6.
