> Thanks for your help! I was able to successfully add an oleControl onto a form while selecting the Shockwave Flash object for the "Insert object" option. I was also able to assign the fullpath and filename of a .swf file to the control's movie property and set the control's playing property to false. Then by calling its play() method, I was able to play the Flash animation file.

That's cool Steve. Did you know that you can actually interact with objects in the Flash and your form? Like you can create a set of Flash buttons for instance and trap the "CLICK" in your form. There is code around to do that.

Like I suggested earlier, do a search in this forum for "flash bernard" and you will find links and files.
